Welcome to my blog
This is where I'll post extra details about my personal projects. Main reasons why:
- Adding 'help' content adds bulk to my projects. I'm always trying to keep the final file size of my published projects to a minimum.
- Easier to update. Most of my projects do have limitations and having a place where I can readily post workarounds, tips, history, and updates where all users can see them is a big plus. Additionally, I can post one-sentence updates and it wouldn't look awkward.
- Anyone can find my content. The initial idea was using Medium or GitHub to host the content, but then I realized that there might be access issues. Medium can randomly put articles behind a paywall, and GitHub requires the user to create an account to access features that would be necessary to interact with the end user. Blogger also requires an account to access, but since most of my projects target Chrome and Android, it's very likely that a large part of my users already own a Google account.
- Posts on Blogger tend to stay there for an indefinite amount of time. It's backed by a large company so any content I post here is more likely to stay online longer without me having to do a thing.
That's all. I'll try to keep everything simple and clean. Thanks!
